Artist Statement

Taking a bike ride – even on the nicest of days – calls on us to get up from the comfort of our couch and face the challenges that befall a simple task. This tile speaks to us when we are ‘in a rut’ – sometimes a challenge is just what is needed. Why not a lovely bike ride on a sunny day?
