Artist Statement

Dorothy Parker, a founding member of the literary group ‘The Algonquin Round Table’ and two time Academy Award nominee, was known as a wise-cracker and lover of gin. Her witty retorts and comebacks are the stuff of legend, and this tile colorfully pays tribute to the playful smart aleck that comes out when the martinis are flowing.
